School Leadership Team representative – The School Leadership Team (SLT) representatives are to be present at every SLT meeting, and must represent the Student Union and student body, presenting our views to the administration, faculty, and Parents’ Association. The SLT representatives will also chair Students’ Forum meetings.
The School Leadership Team (SLT) meets one Tuesday of every month to discuss issues that concern both the student body, parents, and the administration. The group is composed of students, parents, teachers, administrative officials and Mr Teitel. SLT meetings are a great forum for students to discuss things that affect them in all walks of life at Stuy, and are open to anyone. The student members of the SLT will have monthly meetings before each SLT meeting. These meetings, entitled the Students’ Forum, ask students what issues they would like to bring up at the next SLT discussion. So if you feel like you have an important issue to bring up, come to a Students’ Forum or an SLT meeting in Room 615A.
