Budget Meeting #1 Tuesday 12/6

Hello Club/Pub Presidents and Vice-Presidents,

Please check your e-mails because we have requested that you all re-submit your electronic charters. We have also already sent out the final list of the Clubs and Pubs.

We will be having a budget meeting Tuesday, December 6th.One representative from your club (President or Vice-President) MUST be there if you want funding/loans. During the meeting, clubs will get the chance to request funding from the SU. Either the president or VP will make a request/proposal to the SU for money. Please come with a valid reason for your club needing money. If the request/proposal is reasonable, the SU will delegate funds to your club. If it is not reasonable, we will discuss what we can give you, if anything because, unfortunately, the school is tight on money.
The feasibility of the proposal will be voted on by the members of the Student Union.

You will be given a time slot after you sign up on our form. Please read over the form carefully and make sure you include what we request from you the day of the meeting. Don’t forget to have a physical copy of your request to read off of.

Also, please don’t be late to your appointed time slot.

Sign up for a Budget Meeting timeslot in “Budget Meeting #1 sign up” under the Budget section.

Don’t forget to check your emails frequently, so we can let you know what your time slot is.

Once again, the date is Tuesday, December 6th after period 10 (room 615A) and the meeting is mandatory if your club wants funding/loans.

SU Sweatshirt Design Competition

Winter is right around the corner and what better way to prepare for the chilly season than a nice cozy sweater that represents Stuy? The SU presents another sweater design contest and we encourage everyone to participate!

The rules are simple:
Create a hoodie, noodie (a hoodie without a hood), or a zip-up hoodie with a design that pertains to Stuyvesant. Nothing inappropriate will be accepted. Be creative!

If you design the winning submission, you will win a free sweatshirt as well as eternal glory!

You can enter in 2 ways:

1) Attach the following information with your design and drop off your sweatshirt design and the orientation of the design on the sweater at the box marked “SU Sweatshirt Design Competition” in the SU office (for those of you who don’t know where the SU office is, it’s behind the senior bar).

2) Email calvinng136@hotmail.com with the subject line “SU Sweatshirt Design Competition” and the following information in the body. Attach your design, preferably as a jpeg, or other common formats (word, photoshop, etc).
