We hope you guys all did well on your finals and have been enjoying your second term so far!
We would like to announce that we will be having our second budget meeting on Monday, February 13th at room 615A.

Same sign-up procedure as before, just a different date.

This is a chance for your club to request grants or loans from the Student Union. Please have ready a written, formal request as to why you are requesting the money. You should include what your club mission is, why you need a grant/loan, how it can benefit your club and what, specifically, you will be using it for. Also include any details which would help you to make a better point to why your club needs/deserves the money. Please list specific products you need and their prices, to give a better estimation of how much money you are requesting. If you come without a valid reason and list of things you need (with prices), then your request will not be looked at. Please note that if you are making requests over $500, your faculty adviser MUST be present to verify this amount and explain why your club needs it. The meeting will be held in room 615A, which is the classroom attached to the library. Each club will be getting a time slot in which the President or VP of the club will present his/her request to the various departments of the Student Union. Then the SU will deliberate and decide how much it can give your club. The SU will do its best to honor the requests, but please understand that the SU cannot always give your club all the money it requests. Sign up immediately for this meeting. Time slots will be given on a first come first serve basis, so the earlier you sign up, the earlier your time slot will be. Please continue to check your emails until the night before the budget meeting to confirm your time slot. Don’t forget to come a bit earlier than your time slot, so you aren’t late to present your request. If you had signed up for the previous budget meeting but didn’t get a slot, you will get priority this time around.
